Our Team

This team has been producing races together for more than 10 years, striving to serve runners of all ages in the Boulder area and beyond. We love running, racing, and providing opportunities to celebrate the personal achievements of athletes in Colorado.

Henry Guzman

Henry has been putting on races in Boulder County for fifteen years. He strives to put on family-friendly events that celebrate running and the Boulder community.

Sarah Rebick

Sarah is generally the person to ask if you have a question about our races.

Craig Mintzlaff

Craig is the president of Endurance Sports Marketing. He promotes and coordinates races big and small nationwide, but lives in Erie, so these are hometown events for him.

Who We Benefit

100% of the net proceeds from the 2015 Boulder Backroads Marathon and Half Marathon goes directly to benefit these two special nonprofits:

The Orphans of AIDS Trust Foundation

The Orphans of AIDS Trust Foundation provides for the care of children in South Africa and the KwaZulu-Natal region, who have been orphaned as a result of AIDS. On a global level, so many lives have been broken by the AIDS tragedy – 8,000 people a day around the world die of AIDS-related illnesses – yet no country has been harder hit than South Africa, where more than 70% of the world’s AIDS cases occur, and where more than 5 million children and adults are currently living with the AIDS virus.

The Exciting Programs Adventures and New Dimensions

The EXPAND program at the Boulder Parks and Recreation Department helps people with disabilities improve and gain new recreation and leisure skills that will enhance their overall well-being and quality of life. EXPAND provides opportunities for both children and adults with disabilities to participate in recreation and leisure programs within their community. At the 2012 Heart & Sole Half Marathon and 10K, both on course and off, EXPAND members and staff help us with the races, so please say hi and thanks as you run by!

Media Kits

For a few select races, we have zipped up logos, details, and a few photos for your convenience. Feel free to reach out if you have any other press/media needs.

Become a Sponsor! We could not produce these races and donate to the good causes we support without the generous support of our sponsors. Contact Henry at hjgrun@gmail.com or 303-517-7046 for sponsorship packages.
